Registration Fees


The Congress welcomes ISOCARP members and non-members and is open to any interested individuals, parties or organisations. ISOCARP and the Belgian Local Organising Committee look forward to the participation of urban planners, young planning professionals, experts and interested professionals from other related disciplines.

Registrations by fax or by surface mail are to be avoided; however, ISOCARP remains flexible.

Congress registration fees
Invitation to any of the programmed congress sessions or for any other contribution does not waive the payment of the congress registration fee. This includes also invited Paper Authors. ISOCARP does not reimburse travel and/or accommodation expenses, or any other expenses related to this invitation.

Reduced Fees
Early registration: 30 June with Full Payment until 31 July 2007 benefit from a reduction in the congress fees.
ISOCARP members benefit from a special membership reduction.
Invited non-members’ authors of selected papers also benefit from a special reduction.

Congress participation fees include:
- Entrance to 4 days of Congress Sessions.
- Welcome Reception and congress lunches (companions are welcome).
- Congress Portfolio.
- Technical Tour and Mobile workshops.
- The Antwerp Congress Proceedings (appearance Sept’08 – delivery Nov’08)

Registration:
From 14.00 to 19.00, participants can register at the Elzenveld venue, where each participant will receive his or her congress bag.
From 18.00, participants arriving late can register at the FCCC (Zoo) venue during the welcome reception and receive their congress bag.

1 Definition ‘Invited Authors’: Authors having complied with the criteria as stipulated in the Call for Papers and being invited by the ISOCARP General Rapporteur to prepare their full paper for one of the Workshops’ presentations and having complied with the ISOCARP paper editing formats and criteria.
2 With copy of student card and/or passport.
3 A discount for invited authors as described under 1 is not applicable in this category.
4 Group: provided all persons belonging to one group register at the same time with one total payment.
5 Partner/Companions are welcomed. Inclusions: congress badge, entrance to the congress opening- and closing session + lunches during the 4 congress days + city tour + welcome reception + technical tour + day tour on 21 Sept 07.
6 Mobile Workshops: participation is optional and much welcomed. In view of logistics and catering, participation requires a separate free registration; Non-participation does not give any reduction on the congress registration fee.

Complete the option ‘Request for Invoice’. All bank details and payment instructions will be mentioned on the invoice that will follow within 10 days after the on line registration. Bank costs: the mentioned registration fees are the net due amounts to be received on ISoCaRP accounts; participants have to make provisions in such a way that no bank transfer costs will be charged to ISoCaRP. Any bank transfer costs charged to ISoCaRP have to be paid to ISoCaRP at the reception desk, upon arrival.
Receipt of Payment follows when the payment is received on ISoCaRP accounts.

Choose for option 'Request for Invoice'. Complete the option ‘Request for Invoice’. The invoice will follow within 10 days after the on line registration.
Look at www.westernunion.com for the nearest bank in your city that offers Western Union transfers. Visit this branch, fulfil the procedures and put the payment in the name of ISoCaRP-Mrs van Hemert; Fax or e-mail to ISoCaRP the number on the Western Union transfer sheet (+ password for some countries). The payment will be with us within 24 hours. Western Union charges a percentage to the debitor.
Receipt of Payment follows when the payment is received.

Cancellation Policy
• Notification of cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to the ISoCaRP Secretariat (e-mail or fax)
• Cancellations received up to and including 31st July 2007: 100% refund (transfer and handling costs Euro 80)
• Cancellations received from 1 – 15 August 2007: 75% refund (transfer and handling costs included)
• Cancellations received from 16 – 31 August 2007: 60% refund (transfer and handling costs included)
• Cancellation received as per 1 Sep 2007 and no show: no refunds.
• Possible refunds will be processed after the event.
