Congresses

The main activity of ISOCARP is the organisation of its Annual Congress. Attended by some 300-400 delegates congresses are small enough for personal interchange of ideas on a given theme. The congresses are open to ISOCARP Members (reduced congress fees), but ISOCARP heartily welcomes non members (indivuals, parties or organisations) interested in the congress theme. The Congresses provide a platform for establishing professional as well as personal contacts with colleagues in many countries around the world.

Expressions of Interest

ISOCARP invites expressions of interest from universities, planning agencies, city governments, institutions and consortiums in hosting future ISOCARP World Congress in their city.

2015 is the Congress of ISOCARP's 50th Anniversary Year. ISOCARP will return to its roots and hold this congress in The Netherlands again. 
Organisations with an interest in hosting the congress in 2016, 2017 or 2018 are welcome to send an expression of interest.
