Follow-up of winning Award for Excellence
Thanks to winning the ISOCARP Awards for Excellence the project ''Rahat - Planning the Largest Bedouin City in the World - Coexistence in the Middle East'' by Amos Brandeis which was relatively unknown in Israel received a lot of PR there. 2011 ISOCARP Awards for Excellence
One of the highlights of the congress was the presentation of the 2011 ISOCARP Awards for Excellence. They were given to three projects that had provided excellent planning solutions to the congress theme “Liveable Cities, Urbanising World: Meeting the Challenge”. More>
Young Planning Professionals' Workshop Wuhan
From 20-24 October 2011 twenty-five selected Young Planning Professionals met in Wuhan to work on the conceptual design of the Wuhan High-Speed Railway Station Area. Results>
Memoranda of Understanding
During the 47th ISOCARP Congress several Memoranda of Understanding with international bodies were signed.
ISOCARP continues the fruitful collaboration with the Nairobi Ministries by signing MoUs with the Ministries of Housing, Lands and Metropolitan Development.
